UT Men’s Lacrosse is a Division I MCLA Lacrosse program. As a student-run club, we fundraise every year to cover the costs of running a team, including travel and gear. Your contributions help UT Men’s Lacrosse travel to play in some of the best competitions in the country, including theNational Tournament in May.
On March 30th, the Longhorns added a special new teammate. Nine year old Khyren Morquecho was added to the Longhorns roster. Khyren was diagnosed with a medulloblastoma brain tumor in June of last year. Since then, Khyren has fought through multiple surgeries, 33 rounds of radiation treatment, and is now on his sixth round of chemotherapy. Though he has a different and much more critical fight, Khyren has given the team perspective and shown how to respond positively in the face of challenge. He is an inspiration to the entire roster, coaching staff, and Texas Lacrosse family. We would like to give back to Khyren and his family, so we will be designating 50% of the fundraising from 40 for Forty to help Khyren and his mother Christina pay for Khyren's remaining chemo treatments.
Thank you for your support of the entire Texas Lacrosse Family!
