Established in the summer of 1891 as the School of Pedagogy, UT’s College of Education is celebrating its 125th anniversary. Over the last 125 years, we have nurtured generations of educators, education leaders and health professionals who are committed to improving learning and health outcomes for people across the lifespan. Our graduates are transforming the education and health landscapes and contributing to our national reputation for excellence in teaching, research and leadership.
