This has been a year of celebration at Recreational Sports. We could not have reached the monumental milestone of 100 years on campus without the support of our generous donors, participants, student employees, and alumni. This year we unveiled a historical display in Gregory Gym, opened the newly renovated Charles Alan Wright Fields at the Berry M. Whitaker Sports Complex (grand opening celebration scheduled for April 21), and are preparing to induct the first class into our Hall of Honor during the Centennial Celebration and Reunion on April 22.
Help us kick of the next century of nation-leading programs and services for the Longhorn community by donating to the $100 for One Hundred Years campaign during this year’s 40 Hours for the Forty Acres. Any amount you can give is appreciated and will go to the Excellence Fund which supports the Recreational Sports' overall mission of education beyond the classroom. Recreational Sports programming helps students develop the personal responsibility, leadership skills, healthy habits, and relationships necessary to their success now as students and later as they enter the workforce representing the Longhorn community.
