Dean Farnsworth’s top priority is making Texas Law the best place in the world to be a law student and to attract the best and brightest students to Texas Law by providing a top-tier education without top-tier debt. As part of this effort, we have established the Dean’s Scholarship Excellence Fund which provides current use scholarship support. These funds allow the Law School to compete with our peer schools to enroll the top prospective students in order to help maintain our tradition of excellence and top 14 ranking.
While U.S. News and World Report recently ranked Texas Law as number 1 for the highest salary-debt ratio of all law schools, the competition amongst law schools for highly credentialed students is enormous. In order to arm the school with the necessary scholarship support to attract these students we need your help.
We are challenging our alumni to see how many students we can fund during the 40 hours. For each $35,015 (current first-year in-state tuition) raised, you are funding a student for a year.
Please demonstrate your commitment to Texas Law and be part of our campaign by making your tax-deductible gift today. A gift in any amount helps. The law school can only continue to thrive through the participation and contributions of its alumni and friends. In fact, last year, 18% of our alumni participated in annual giving, a law school record. Help us reach that goal again—or surpass it.
