College of Pharmacy

During 40 Hours for the Forty Acres, the College of Pharmacy needs your support!  Our fundraising efforts will be focused on supporting the professional development of all pharmacy students as they prepare to take on the challenges of managing drug therapy, counseling on medication use, and monitoring drug therapy outcomes.

New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is the first introduction our incoming class has to the curriculum, faculty, and other aspects of the college and profession.  It is a critical time for our students and involves several days’ worth of activities, meals, and the long-awaited White Coat Ceremony.  We must maintain support and sponsorship of this event to continue to provide students with the best possible introduction to the College of Pharmacy.

Student Professional Development Endowment

Our Student Professional Development Endowment supports travel for members of student groups to national conventions, Research Day initiatives, and several professional projects such as Project Collaborate and Know Your Medicine.  Our students benefit greatly from the numerous opportunities they have to interact with other pharmacists and medical providers during their years at the College of Pharmacy.
