The SWAN Board brings alumni closer to the School and provides student scholarships. This year, SWAN hopes to continue to support 5 students – 2 at the bachelor’s level and 3 at the master’s level.

Giveaways: Individuals who donate: $40 will receive 2 tickets to the 8th Annual Tailgate on September 9th; $100 will also receive a SWAN alumni t-shirt.
Social Work Council Food Pantry
The Social Work Council represents the students at the School of Social Work campus-wide, assists in fundraising for groups and agencies in Austin, and sponsors the food pantry in the student kitchen at the School. This food pantry provides snacks and meals for students who do not have the time or ability to access food while they are at the School.

Washington Calling
The DiNitto Center for Career Services is dedicated to providing the highest level of innovative services to students, alumni, and employers. This fall, it will be hosting Washington Calling, where over 5 days students will meet with and learn from area alumni, explore federal internship opportunities, and learn more about job prospects in policy, advocacy, clinical work, and professional organizations.
