Texas Gymnastics is a coed University of Texas sport club that emphasizes staying active, making a great group of friends, and enjoying what the amazing sport of gymnastics has to offer regardless of your skill level!
The team is made up of individuals with all different levels of gymnastics experience. We all work together and help each other out in order to make ourselves better gymnasts and teammates overall, despite how challenging this sport can be at times. We practice at an off-campus facility four days a week, and in the spring semester we travel on weekends to attend our competitions. We compete against other gymnastics clubs from within the Texas Gymnastics Conference, which contains clubs from universities in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Additionally, at the end of the school year we attend Nationals and compete against college clubs located all over the country.
The competitions, apparel, and travel fees can be very expensive, so donations are greatly appreciated! We are usually only able to take 12 women and 12 men to the National competition because we are unable to afford the cost of taking each member. We would like to give every member on our team the opportunity to attend Nationals and show what they have been working so hard for all year. By donating to this club, you can help us afford to go to more competitions and bring each team member to Nationals, which is the most important and rewarding competition of the season.
