Landmarks

Support public art on campus!

As the public art program at The University of Texas at Austin, Landmarks provides free access to 41 great works of modern and contemporary art to everyone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For many, the collection provides an opportunity to engage with great works of art for the first time.

While the art is paid for by UT, Landmarks needs your help to provide maintenance and conservation treatments to the collection, train student volunteers and offer outreach and educational programs.

Free monthly walking tours are available to the public on the first Sunday of each month. Annual dog walking and bike tours are also offered. Self-guided tours and children's activity guides are always available online. Visit our events page and join us. We’d love to see you!

Gifts at any level make an impact. Here are a few examples of your gifts in action:

$2,500 – Repaints the benchback inside the James Turrell's Skyspace The Color Inside

$1,000 – Applies an anti-graffiti coating to one sculpture

$500 – Removes efflorescence on Sol LeWitt’s Circle with Towers

$250 – Hires a professional conservator to hold a 2-hour workshop for student volunteers

$100 – Provides materials for docent volunteers to offer free, guided tours
