MBA Fellowships for Working Professionals
A first-ever fellowship fund for select prospective students who will attend the DFW, Houston, or Austin Evening programs beginning in the 2018-19 academic year. Fellowships will be awarded on a merit basis with strong consideration for need, so they will encourage stronger applications, attract more diverse students, and grow our programs in their respective markets. For every dollar you donate (up to the first $150,000 raised), the program will match it 1-1, doubling your gift!
Michael Hasler Supply Chain and Analytics Scholarship
Dr. Hasler was diagnosed with Leukemia in August of 2017 and is fighting this battle with continuous strength, humor, and a contagious smile on his face. As a key leader in the IROM (Information, Risk & Operations Management) department and the McCombs School of Business for over 10 years, Dr. Hasler has made a profound and lasting impact on thousands of students with his charismatic teaching style and enthusiasm for learning. With Dr. Hasler’s blessing, some of his former students have decided that the best way to support him in his fight against Leukemia is to create a scholarship at McCombs in his honor. The scholarship is intended to distribute merit-based awards for students either with a strong interest in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, any other IROM focus area and/or a SCM or MSBA study abroad program.
BBA Legacy: Water Station Project
Created by BBA students, this year’s BBA Legacy campaign seeks to raise $5,000 to install two (2) water bottle filling stations in the McCombs School halls. These stations will allow all students easy access to filtered water for their reusable bottles, which will reduce McCombs’ environmental footprint and promote healthy habits to the entire student body.
