McCombs School of Business

The success of the McCombs School of Business is founded on the energy and generosity of supporters like you. With more than 90,000 alumni across the globe, even the smallest gifts make a huge collective impact. Your 40 for Forty gift made today, in any amount, will enable us to offer the most dynamic and innovative business education possible in 2018 and beyond. Thank you for your support and Hook ’em!

Annual Funds

Unrestricted gifts that allow McCombs or a specific program’s leadership to use them where current (and often time sensitive) needs are greatest.

MBA Fellowships for Working Professionals

A first-ever fellowship fund for select prospective students who will attend the DFW, Houston, or Austin Evening programs beginning in the 2018-19 academic year. Fellowships will be awarded on a merit basis with strong consideration for need, so they will encourage stronger applications, attract more diverse students, and grow our programs in their respective markets. For every dollar you donate (up to the first $150,000 raised), the program will match it 1-1, doubling your gift!

Michael Hasler Supply Chain and Analytics Scholarship

Dr. Hasler was diagnosed with Leukemia in August of 2017 and is fighting this battle with continuous strength, humor, and a contagious smile on his face. As a key leader in the IROM (Information, Risk & Operations Management) department and the McCombs School of Business for over 10 years, Dr. Hasler has made a profound and lasting impact on thousands of students with his charismatic teaching style and enthusiasm for learning. With Dr. Hasler’s blessing, some of his former students have decided that the best way to support him in his fight against Leukemia is to create a scholarship at McCombs in his honor. The scholarship is intended to distribute merit-based awards for students either with a strong interest in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, any other IROM focus area and/or a SCM or MSBA study abroad program. For every dollar you donate to the Dr. Hasler Supply Chain and Analytics Scholarship during 40 for Forty (up to the first $2,000 raised), your gift will be matched 1:1 by alumni Mike Sherman, MS ’14, and Clare Perry, MA ’08, doubling your gift!

**UPDATE: MORE MATCHING MONEY!!  Jamie Gruwer, BBA ’11, has stepped up to provide an additional $1,000 in matching money for the Dr. Hasler Scholarship! That’s a total of $3,000 that will be matched during the 40 for Forty campaign. While the site doesn’t have the ability to reflect all $3,000, please know that it is there to be matched, so make your gift today!

BBA Legacy: Water Station Project

Created by BBA students, this year’s BBA Legacy campaign seeks to raise $5,000 to install two (2) water bottle filling stations in the McCombs School halls. These stations will allow all students easy access to filtered water for their reusable bottles, which will reduce McCombs’ environmental footprint and promote healthy habits to the entire student body.
