Texas Women’s Club Volleyball is a great way for women on campus to continue their love for the fast-growing sport. The UT RecSports affiliated organization is comprised of two teams, both of which practice twice a week and actively participate in various fundraising, volunteer, and social events. As an organization, we pride ourselves on our highly competitive nature, with teams to different cities and states to compete against the best in the nation. Every year UTWCVB teams are national title contenders. Our mission is to promote the development of the sport of volleyball while providing a fun, competitive environment.
As a student-run organization, costs for travelling, equipment, and coaching is paid primarily by the players and fundraising. Donations during 40 for Forty will help alleviate the costs for players, allowing us to focus on performance and improvement throughout the season.
Comprised of two teams (Orange team and White team), the club competes year-round in regional tournaments as well as the annual NCVF national tournament. Both teams hold practices twice a week, on Monday and Wednesday from 7-10 PM at the RecSports Center. We also participate in fundraising, service, and social events with other UT club teams throughout the year. As a 5-time national championship winning team, we are asking for help in continuing our winning tradition. Thank you so much and hook ‘em!
