The Canfield Business Honors Program (CBHP) challenges students with a specialized curriculum. Simply put, Canfield BHP is a top-notch program with a tight-knit community. We challenge students to think outside of the box and make connections in the process. In small classes of 35 to 45 students, CBHP participants focus on group discussions, presentations and analytic exercises.
How You Can Support
Funds support the CBHP program in different areas, such as experiential learning opportunities, scholarships and events. Funding can also provide programmatic support for CBHP dual-degree programs such as:
“When I was entering college, I knew I wanted to work at the intersection of computer science and finance, but I had no idea what my options were. CS Honors and Canfield BHP allowed me to explore both of my passions individually, alongside other highly motivated and exceptionally talented students. As a trader leveraging data science to study markets, I’m now starting a career where I get to use what I learned from both disciplines every day.” - Aaron Garay '21
Make a Mark
Every year, the graduating Canfield BHP class sponsors the Make-A-Mark Campaign. The Canfield BHP Make-A-Mark Campaign raises funds in support of an endowed scholarship for future Canfield BHP students and also for programming events that students take part in. Throughout the years, Canfield BHP students have raised over $200,000 dollars for Make-a-Mark. The Make-A-Mark Scholarship has proven to be a successful recruiting tool for the top high school students in the nation. Your gift is an investment in your degree and goes on to strengthen Canfield BHP as one of the nation’s top programs.
Your Impact
When you support Canfield BHP, you help us blaze the world’s next business path, fuel and inspire entrepreneurial thinking and infuse unparalleled business acumen.
“For a mix of technical and creative skills, I recommend Canfield BHP and marketing. My marketing classes fueled my ability to solve communication-driven challenges. My Canfield BHP classes were technical, but I leaned on my resourcefulness from marketing to find original solutions. Double-majoring in Canfield BHP and marketing will serve me for a lifetime.” - Samantha Bryant '20
