Texas Running Club
Who We Are
Texas Running Club is the official organization for club runners at the University of Texas at Austin. We are sponsored not only by the University of Texas, but also by the Recreational Sports Club division and the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association (NIRCA). We strive to promote health and fitness by building a recreational running community at the University of Texas and providing a gateway for marathon and road race training.
What We’re Fundraising For
Texas Running Club is a UT Recreational Sports sponsored club with a growing membership, and we strive to make the club accessible to all students with affordable dues. We accommodate a variety of runners ranging from members who are currently chasing personal bests to those who are just now beginning their running journey.
We pride ourselves in our ability to attract members of all running backgrounds to promote general fitness at UT, and we offer fun, bonding opportunities ranging from club camping trips to 200+ mile relays. As we gain active members every year, these activity costs increase, so we need your help!
Your Impact
At the Texas Running Club, we rely on donations from friends, family, and alumni to fund some of our most important initiatives and activities. Donations to TRC are used to help send runners to NIRCA national competitions, provide transportation during our semesterly long relays, and generally keep costs down for members. We believe that running and being part of the TRC community should be low-cost and accessible to as many people as possible, and we are asking for your help to keep it that way!
