Who We Are
The Sorority and Fraternity community at The University of Texas at Austin is a vibrant aspect of student life both on and off campus. Guided by shared values such as scholastic achievement, leadership development, service for others, and building community, sorority and fraternity membership makes a profound impact on student’s college experience and connection to UT Austin after graduation. Our dedicated staff in Sorority and Fraternity Life are fortunate to provide guidance, mentorship, and support to student leaders and stakeholders as they grow in these significant organization experiences.
Sorority and Fraternity Life in the Office of the Dean of Students fosters responsible leadership and personal development in collaboration with our 63 fraternities and sororities, six student-led governing councils, collectively representing 15% of the undergraduate population on campus.
We are committed to advancing a supportive environment that strengthens a sense of belonging, and aligns members' actions with their shared values, thereby ensuring a holistic and enriching college experience.
