Who We Are
Founded in 2011 by a motivated group of students at the McCombs School of Business, our team works with academic and business leaders as a part of an international non-profit organization. At its core, Texas Enactus is about creating social change through environmentally, economically, and socially sustainable initiatives. Using our unique skills and abilities, Texas Enactus students recognize community needs and build ventures to address them. Currently, we are running three different social entrepreneurship projects dedicated to clean water access, sexual assault awareness, and healthcare technology.
What We're Fundraising For
We are raising funds for each of our three projects: Rainewable, Cherryish Yourself, and TeachBack. Rainewable is a rainwater filtration system for communities in need of clean water access, and requires funds to continue the expansion and further installation of the system. Cherryish Yourself is a clothing brand dedicated to raising awareness for sexual assault. The project needs additional funding to continue producing and selling apparel for donation purposes. Finally, TeachBack is a health literacy app to make healthcare more accessible and is raising money to develop the app.
Your Impact
While all three of our projects have the potential to either alleviate or raise awareness of global issues, they are not yet complete. With additional funding, our projects can be completed and installed in new regions, increasing access to water, raising awareness for sexual assault, or making healthcare more accessible. In addition, being a student organization, additional funding will create more opportunities for our students to learn about entrepreneurship and expand their business acumen.
