Envision being able to journey from Dallas to Austin in just 25 minutes for a quick lunch with a colleague, heading to Houston for a business meeting in another 25 minutes, and then returning to Dallas, all before your kids are home from school.
At Texas Guadaloop, we are at the forefront of the research & development of award-winning hyperloop pods, aiming to bring this future to fruition, while transportation technology continues its rapid evolution. Electric vehicles continue to skyrocket in popularity, and self-driving taxis now shuttle users around Austin — all a testament to this transformative era.
We actively seek to develop faster, cheaper, and more sustainable transportation to disrupt modern transportation with the research and development of the hyperloop and compete globally at hyperloop development competitions with a prototype that we develop each year. Contrary to most other hyperloop student teams, we do a lot of in-house manufacturing, honing our engineers’ skills and maximizing cost-effectiveness. 
What We're Fundraising For
While our ambition is limitless, unfortunately, our funds are not. Competing on a global scale with state-of-the-art hyperloop pods demands significant funding. This year is our most ambitious year yet. We have our sights set on the Canadian Hyperloop Conference in May, UC Irvine's Hyperloop Showcase in June, and European Hyperloop Week in July. We've completely revamped our design from previous years, and this time, we're determined to not just be the best team in America, but the best team in the world.
The hyperloop industry's growth narrative tells a compelling story of its transformative potential. From an initial valuation of $.8B in 2021, it ballooned to $1.8B in just two years, 2023. This pace is anticipated to accelerate, with the industry projected to surpass $12B by 2028 and a staggering $30B by 2033. Yet, a significant portion of this growth is occurring outside the US. At Texas Guadaloop, we aim to reverse this trend.
