UT Women's Club Soccer

Who We Are

The UT Women’s Club Soccer Team is a competitive soccer team at the University of Texas that competes in the Women’s Premier Division of the Texas Collegiate Soccer League, part of the National Collegiate Club Soccer Association. We compete against other recognizable universities such as Texas A&M, TCU, Baylor, and more.

UT Women’s Club Soccer is a student run organization sponsored by UT RecSports that is committed to promoting personal growth and skill development among student athletes. In the 2017 season, the team swept regional competition to advance to the national tournament in Phoenix, Arizona. After advancing all the way to the final game in the tournament’s championship bracket, the team fell to UC Santa Barbara. Several team members were recognized as part of the NIRSA National Championship All-Tournament Team. The team has high expectations for the coming year, hoping to light the UT Tower orange with a win at the National Championship!

What We're Fundraising For

As a completely student-run organization, we are responsible for fundraising money to support our team throughout our season. These funds go towards our all of travel expenses for away games (gas, hotels, rental cars), new equipment, referee fees, trainers to keep our team healthy, and so much more. Most importantly, this money makes it possible for our team to compete in the regional and national tournaments each fall.

In the spring, we host our annual Longhorn 7v7 Tournament, and your donations help ensure that we can pay referees, coaches and athletic trainers for the weekend. Last year, the Texas B team swept the tournament and Texas is trying to win the tournament again.

Your Impact

Your donation allows our team members to focus on enjoying the sport they love, and reduces stress regarding financials. Without you, our team would not have the opportunity to participate in our regular season games, or our regional or national tournaments that we work so hard to qualify for. As a competitive team, winning nationals is a dream of all of our members, a goal that cannot be reached without your generosity. Your support of these club expenses is greatly appreciated, as you are helping us set the club up for another successful year!
