Who We Are
Longhorn Quidditch is a student-run organization bonded by a love for the sport of quidditch. We have two sides to our organization: house and traveling. The house teams (Slytherdor and Ravenpuff) are oriented towards providing a social environment for the organization and the traveling teams (Austin Quidditch and Texas Quidditch) compete at the highest level of the sport against teams from across the country.
The house side of our organization organizes socials such as weekly game nights and the Winter Yule ball semi-formal as well as volunteers and organizes "kidditch" events in which members teach children how to play the sport. The traveling side is regarded as one of the best programs in the country, claiming four national titles in its short tenure.
What We’re Fundraising For
Longhorn Quidditch needs fundraising in order to ensure that the internal operations and social functions of the organization can continue to thrive. Additionally, our traveling teams need funding to be able to attend tournaments throughout the season and the national tournament. Funding travel expenses for two separate teams is a hefty task and requires large fundraising events and initiatives.
Your Impact
Through the gifts given to Longhorn Quidditch, we will continue to be able to provide a social and athletic community for our members. Generosity from donors like you allows our organization to thrive and grants us the opportunity to represent The University of Texas at Austin at out-of-state events and compete at the highest level of the sport.
