Fundraising For: Study Abroad!
We are fundraising for study abroad scholarships for students looking to participate in a study abroad program, travel for research & conferences, or pursue independent travel.
Study abroad has become an integral part of the Plan II experience. Living abroad, exposure to other cultures, languages, and traditions, provides the transformational experiences that are so critical to a 21st century education. Plan II encourages all of our students to study abroad at some point in their academic career, whether for a month, summer, full semester, or more.

Your Impact
Through your contribution, Plan II will be able to provide the following types of support directly to our students:
By contributing to these scholarships, you have an immense impact on a student's ability to meet their academic goals, expand their horizons, and experience all that a Plan II Honors education has to offer.
Our mission is to help shape our students into engaged and responsible members of both the local and global community. By funding study abroad experiences, we can offer our students the chance to grow both academically and personally, boosting their resumes and enhancing their worldviews.

What Our Students Have to Say About Study Abroad & Travel Scholarship Impact:
"The trip I had to Japan, enabled by the [travel grant] award, was quite simply a life changing experience. It gave me perspective outside of what I have seen before, taught me new ways to approach problems from diverse cultural context and inspiration, and sparked in me a desire to continue learning about different cultures. I can’t be thankful enough for this incredible opportunity.”
“I just wanted to express my gratitude for the opportunity to attend the Oxford Consortium on Human Rights workshop at Sonoma State University. To be surrounded by similarly passionate peers and instructed by faculty from a variety of fields and backgrounds was a delight, and I look forward to using the tools I picked up from this experience around community building and organizing in my future at and beyond UT Austin.”
"My Maymester was invaluable in exposing me to different cultures and enriching my academic and personal development. I made memories and discoveries in Rome that will last a lifetime, and I cannot be more grateful for the experience. I was able to finance my trip through grants and scholarships, allowing me to take advantage of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I would not have been able to otherwise. I loved my time abroad and it's one of the many things I will cherish the most about my time at UT!"
