They say everything is bigger in Texas. The alumni association for The University of Texas is no exception. Since the beginning, the Texas Exes has been laser-focused on helping alumni and students thrive. From scholarships to chapter connections to career resources and legislative advocacy, we’ve bettered the lives of Longhorns worldwide.

As the vital driving force behind all the work we do, our more than 110,000 members enable us to be a powerful voice for UT at the national and state level and keep the Longhorn spirit alive. Donations support our work to promote and protect the University, enrich the student experience, connect alumni all over the world, and provide resources for the Longhorns who need it most. As a nonprofit organization, every dollar is critical to our mission.

What We’re Fundraising For

Area of Greatest Need – Giving here allows us the flexibility to apply your gift where it has the most immediate impact.

Forty Acres Scholars Program – Inspire and nurture the visionary leaders of the future by supporting the Forty Acres Scholars Program, the premier full-ride, merit-based scholarship program at The University of Texas at Austin.

General Scholarship Fund – Allow us the flexibility to apply your gift to the scholarship area that needs it most by making a gift to the Texas Exes General Scholarship Fund.

Retired Faculty and Staff Association – Gifts to RFSA help fund scholarships to deserving UT students. Recipients are selected based on merit and financial need. (the steps to make your gift are below!)

Student Programming – Help us enrich the student experience through programming like Camp Texas, Orange and White Welcome, the official UT Ring, and the Great Texas Exit.
