Texas Science & Natural History Museum

Who We Are

Texas Science & Natural History Museum’s is located on the UT campus and the museum’s mission is to excite, engage, and connect curious minds of all ages with the unique and irreplaceable natural history of Texas.

The museum tells the story of life in the natural world in Texas, from the formation of our planet, through the age of the dinosaurs, and into our current environment.

What We're Fundraising For

As a self-supporting unit of The University of Texas at Austin, the museum relies on the philanthropic support of members and donors. Your financial support will help foster a robust educational experience, create innovative new exhibits and help ensure the museum’s long-term sustainability as a treasured community resource.

Your gift will support:

$50 Will provide a day of exploration at the museum for 8 students.

$120 Will provide a “gift membership” to a low-income family of four to have unlimited visits to the museum for one year.

$150 Will support hands-on learning activity for a school group.

$250 Bring an entire group of elementary school children and teachers to visit the museum.
