Who We Are

Chapters and Networks are passionate about connecting and uniting Longhorns no matter where they are located. Led by passionate volunteers driven by the desire to give back to others, they are the most loyal Longhorns, firmly committed to keeping members engaged with UT and fellow Longhorns. No matter how far from the Forty Acres you may be, you’ll always feel close to home.

Texas Exes Chapters are located across the globe and serve the needs of more than 570,000 alumni. Each year, they provide scholarship support to hundreds of the best and brightest students from their local areas.

Texas Exes Networks are made up of Longhorns who share a common bond. These volunteer-led groups create a way for alumni to connect around shared interests, UT experiences, or affiliations. Each year, they provide scholarship support to deserving students who share those same bonds.

Your Impact

Each year, Chapters and Networks provide scholarship support to hundreds of deserving students from their local areas or who share their common bond. In the 2022-23 academic year $621,480 in Chapter & Network scholarship funds were awarded to 299 recipients.

In the spring, Texas Exes Chapters and Networks support their local communities through the impact of Project Worldwide, an international service initiative created through a partnership between the Texas Exes and the Division of Campus and Community Engagement.
