Who We Are

ContribUTe is UT Austin’s annual students-helping-students campaign. When you give, you can make a positive change for Longhorn students on campus.

For many students like you, classes and exams aren’t the hardest part of the college experience—sometimes unique challenges can present themselves as not knowing where your next meal will come from, getting access to mental health care, and overcoming unexpected emergencies.

When you give today, you are ensuring Longhorns have full access to vital resources that exist to help students meet their needs so that they can continue striving for academic excellence on the Forty Acres.

What We're Fundraising For

The UT Outpost and Career Closet

The Outpost provides students access to free nutritious food to combat hunger. And UT Outpost Career Closet offers free professional clothing to students for interviews, internships and job opportunities.

Plus, gifts made directly to the UT Outpost will be DOUBLED thanks to a $20,000 Matching Fund from a generous Longhorn family.

The Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC)

The Counseling and Mental Health Center provides free counseling, psychiatric consultation and prevention services that facilitate students’ academic and life goals and enhance their personal growth and well-being.

Student Emergency Services

This fund provides limited emergency financial support to currently enrolled Longhorns who are experiencing temporary or unexpected hardship. Expenses considered for Student Emergency Fund support include utilities, medication expenses, books or school related expenses, replacement of belongings lost in a fire/natural disaster and safety-related needs such as changing locks or emergency shelter.
