Longhorn Baseball Club

Who We Are

The Longhorn Baseball Club is a group of young, driven, and talented UT students who strive to excel in both the classroom and on the baseball diamond. We take pride in enjoying the game of baseball alongside classmates and friends as we all venture through the years of college. Our goal is to provide a team-built atmosphere of healthy competition, a winning tradition, and a culture of brotherhood that extends past the time we spend on the 40 acres. From weekend to weekend, the Longhorn Baseball Club competes in a series of baseball games against other collegiate club teams in an attempt to emerge victorious and advance into the playoffs. We do this through playing the game of baseball in an honest and competitive manner, playing not for ourselves but always for the entirety of the team.

What We're Fundraising For

The Longhorn Baseball Club has had a history of being successful and venturing into the later rounds of playoffs. Going deeper into the playoff tournament means a road trip for the Longhorn Baseball Club as the championship is played in North Carolina. Our purpose in being a part of the 40 for Forty campaign is we are asking for support in providing for us the opportunity to continue winning and playing baseball at every level. With the donations we receive, we will be able to continue building our brotherhood, fostering meaningful relationships, providing the tools for success for our players, and maintaining our history of success. Physically speaking, contributions from donors will go towards hotel & travel expenses, team gear, funding for the improvement of our program, and being able to sustain our success as a club. With the help brought on by the generosity of this campaign, the Longhorn Baseball Club can continue to make the Longhorn tradition, a winning one.

Your Impact

The contributions of donors have had significant impacts on our club in both our recent and distant past. Donations have allowed our club to travel to new competition, see different parts of the country, improve our team equipment and help us remain a successful program. This year, due to past donations, we were able to order new jerseys and hats for every player on our team and finally secure a quality home field where we can host other teams. Moreover, we were able to secure “stir-up” socks for each player and provide belts for everyone in our club. With these contributions, we are able to keep our club looking and playing like a well-kept team.
