Who We Are

University Unions is a student centric organization with a mission to enhance the student experience and enrich campus life by providing cultural, educational, social and recreational programs as well as related goods and services to the campus community. During students' time on campus, we strive to develop a sense of community and provide opportunities to learn valuable life and leadership skills that our students carry with them throughout their personal and professional lives.

What We’re Fundraising For...

We are excited this year to be raising funds for Student Programming at the Cactus Café! 

Please consider giving to our Student Programming at the Cactus Café Initiative as we work to bring music, comedy and talent offerings to the Cactus Café that appeal to our students, campus community and beyond as we bring fresh offerings to the Cactus Café AND continue to celebrate the rich history and legacy of the 40 Acres jewel that is the Cactus Café! 

We are also excited to be raising funds for our Rooftop Patio Gardening Initiative.

Please also consider giving to our Rooftop Patio Gardening Initiative as we work to turn one of our rooftop patio spaces into a wonderful and collaborative opportunity to grow fresh produce on our urban campus. This is a sustainable initiative that will teach students and staff alike how to grow different types of crops that are suited to our climate and planting seasons.

We further hope to turn this into a sustainable source of fresh produce for those that participate as well as the UT Outpost to provide nutritious and home grown produce to those that need it most at a low or zero cost. This is a study/work/life balance initiative intended to bring wellness and mindfulness into the daily routines of those participating. 

Your Impact

Your generous gifts will have a positive and lasting impact on the participates of these types of programming and provide the critical funding to enable a truly collaborative opportunity to teach teamwork and provide each person with the skills and knowledge that can be shared with others.  

Working with diverse groups of peers and professionals that they might not have otherwise had the opportunity to engage with one another is a great benefit of our programs! We want to impart the importance of volunteerism, and giving back to the community to support a shared goal and to provide a safe location to enjoy fun and fellowship. With your generous support of the Cactus Café Student Programming and the Rooftop Patio Garden Initiatives, you will ensure we meet those goals!
