At Texas Athletics, our core purpose is to instill the passion, knowledge and character for all student-athletes to win with integrity—in academics, in athletics and in life.
June 23, 2022 marked the 50th anniversary of Congress passing Title IX, thereby prohibiting discrimination based on gender in athletics and education. Your support for our female student-athletes and sport programs fuels this level of excellence, accomplishment, and opportunity to Texas Athletics.
Our Goal: To continue to fundraise for the Title IX 50th Anniversary Women’s Athletics Endowment
Gifts made to Texas Athletics during this fall's 40 Hours for the Forty Acres campaign will go to support Texas women's athletic programs. In honor of the 50th anniversary of Title IX, your gift will provide enrichment to current and future female Texas student-athletes through scholarship support, education, nutrition and sports medicine (plus more!).
The University of Texas has long been a leader in women’s athletics
Texas Athletics sustains its own operations and the educational and competitive pursuits of more than 500 student-athletes. Since the integration of female varsity sports, your gifts helped our Longhorns to:
- 31 National Championships
- 26 NCAA Runner-Up Finishes
- 223 Conference Titles
- 148 NCAA Tournament Appearances
- 205 NCAA Championship Top-10 Finishes
Your gift today to help continue to fund this critical new endowment will be part of a lasting legacy of supporting women at the University of Texas, and help Texas Athletics to continue to be the leader for all women student-athletes. We're grateful for your continued support of Texas Athletics!
All gifts made to the Longhorn Foundation are 100% tax deductible.
