What We’re Fundraising For
This past year and a half has been challenging for our students. Your gift helps support valuable mental health resources for students such as crisis intervention, mental health counseling, and prevention services.
We expanded our services during the pandemic to better meet the the evolving needs of students. In addition to providing telehealth services, we expanded hours to accommodate student schedules. We provided private spaces for telehealth appointments for students who didn't have access to a confidential space. We expanded services for students out of state and out of the country. We offered new groups and workshops specifically about coping with the impact of living through the pandemic. And we added new prevention programming to reach more students.

Your gift will help to provide mental health support for UT Austin students. Students seek mental health services for a wide variety of reasons including anxiety, depression, social or academic concerns, eating disorders, relationship issues and more. No matter what the reason, CMHC is here to support students' mental health and well-being so that they can stay on track to meet their academic goals.
