Who We Are

International education is more critical than ever before in today’s increasingly interconnected world. Texas Global advances UT Austin’s academic mission by leading, supporting, and coordinating the university’s international engagement efforts; fostering strategic partnerships on campus and abroad; welcoming a cadre of impressive international students and scholars to campus; and creating opportunities for students and faculty to engage with peers and institutions around the world.

Texas Global champions a community of 5,600 international students and 1,500 international scholars from 130 countries on campus, making UT Austin one of the most diverse campuses in the U.S. What we achieve as a university is enhanced by our extraordinary international students and scholars.

What We Are Fundraising For

We invite you to support scholarships for international students.

International students have faced significant challenges during the pandemic and we are eager to welcome them back to campus and support them during their academic journey.

Tuition and the cost of living can make it difficult for students from around the world to come to UT. International students have limited access to financial aid and employment opportunities. Providing scholarships helps remove financial obstacles and draw global talent to UT, giving all Longhorns the opportunity to learn in an intercultural academic environment.
