Who We Are 

Texas Crew is the nationally competitive co-ed rowing team at the University of Texas.

As the home for over 100 rowers, we are both the largest club sport at the University of Texas and among the largest rowing programs in the country.  Six days a week, we get up at 4:30 A.M. to make it to practice by 5:15, regardless of the weather.  Texas Crew is led by an elected student executive board whose responsibilities range from recruitment, budgeting, organizing national travel for a large team, as well as the hiring and evaluation of paid coaching staff. From coast-to-coast, San Diego to Boston, we represent the University of Texas in the highest levels of competition.

What We’re Fundraising For

Now more than ever we need your help. Texas Crew is an entirely student-run and organized team, and that means the vast majority of our funding comes from donations and student dues. With the COVID-19 pandemic, many things have changed. Even so, we are hopeful we will be able to compete in some form or fashion within the next year. But to do that, we need funding. We have suspended practices, halted new recruitment, and drastically reduced our current members' dues, meaning once competitions do resume we will need even more money to travel, register for regattas, and continue renovating our fleet. 

We have all been training hard to ensure we can hit the next competition season running, but beyond that, we need your help to get us to the races. Your donation will fund our next season and allow us to continue representing the University of Texas.

Your Impact

Your previous donations have helped Texas Crew in countless ways. You've helped keep our dues low enabling more and more students to be able to afford to be on the team they love. You've enabled us to hire an amazing coaching staff dedicated to our continued and national success. 

You've helped replace boats lost in fires and floods and renovate our fleet to ensure we have the best possible equipment. You've enabled us to travel across the country, coast to coast, to represent the University of Texas at the national level. Your future donation will continue to do just that and more, and given the current state of the pandemic, we need your help more than ever. 

We need your help to hit the next competition season running to ensure we can continue to perform at an elite level and represent the University we love. Your donation will ensure we can continue to train with the best coaches, in the best boats, and travel across the country in pursuit of our goal of lighting the tower orange with a national championship.
