Dell Medical School

Since 2012, Dell Medical School has been working toward June 27, 2016 — the day when we will welcome our first class. In our first round of applications, more than 4,500 prospective students applied for admission to a class of just 50. With your support, we can successfully recruit the best of them.

The average medical student in the U.S. graduates almost $200,000 in debt, a burden that is likely top of mind when choosing the area of medicine they will practice. Without debt as a deciding factor, students will have the freedom to choose specialties they are most passionate about and can make the most impact. Scholarships provide this freedom, and Dean Clay Johnston has set a goal of having at least one-third of the total tuition cost underwritten by scholarships.

That’s where you come in. All gifts made to the Dell Medical School during the 40 Hours for the Forty Acres Campaign will be matched — dollar for dollar — and added to the Student Scholarship Fund.
