Who We Are
Texas Spirits is an honorary social, spirit, and service organization for students who identify as women at the University of Texas at Austin. The purpose of Texas Spirits is to promote spirit and serve the University and the Austin community in the best way possible. Our four pillars of spirit, love, service, and friendship represent the core values Texas Spirits strive to uphold.
What We’re Fundraising For
The University of Texas at Austin Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC) serves UT’s diverse campus community by providing high quality, innovative and culturally informed mental health programs and services that enhance and support students’ well-being, academic and life goals. By furnishing free counseling to students in a welcoming environment close to home, CMHC transforms and saves the lives of those in our campus community.
A donation to Texas Spirits’ CMHC Fundraiser will mean CMHC can continue providing free counseling and low-cost psychiatric care to students in need on campus. The care that the Counseling and Mental Health Center provides is an invaluable part of college students’ success at the University of Texas, and has saved countless lives. Texas Spirits is committed to the advancement of mental health care and ending the stigma surrounding mental illness, and hopes to support CMHC’s important work with the student body.
