Who We Are
The UT Men's Soccer team seeks to play soccer at the highest levels. We also strive accept those players who live by our core values and who achieve the level of play we have come to expect. With a squad of, typically, around 36 players, and with a good club ethic, we compete on the regional and national collegiate stage.
What We’re Fundraising For
As a rule, our club accepts players regardless of financial ability to pay. Instead, our concern is how the player holds himself on and off the pitch. However, we do have dues, and we need to fund raise for those players who cannot afford to pay dues. Moreover, our end goal is to become self-sufficient through numerous yearly fundraising events, such as 40 for 40, such that our players do not have to pay any dues.
The UT Men's soccer team is a community to those 36 players who play in the club day-to-day, and for those hundreds (maybe thousands) of alumni who have graduated from this team. Through that community, we also strive to support the community here in Austin. Every semester, we visit the Dell Children's Cancer Ward and spend some time playing with the kids there. We help them and the parents spend a fun hour or two, but we also have a great time! Furthermore, this past season our club community adopted two brothers, whose sister is working through chemotherapy, through the Friend's of Jaclyn Foundation. We gave them some club gear and invited them to our practices and games.
