Who We Are
For more than 125 years, the University of Texas Libraries have committed to building one of the greatest library collections in the world. Maintaining more than 10 million volumes and providing access to the latest digital journals, databases and web resources, the Libraries collects and preserves the finest achievements of human knowledge in support of not only research and instruction needs, but also the exploration of ideas and intellectual innovation.
What We’re Fundraising For
Libraries’ Tomorrow Fund
For 125+ years, the Libraries have been the heart of the Forty Acres. They were your destination for all-nighters, your meeting ground for group study projects, your research guides, the place you wrote countless papers, and your nook where you took a breath between classes.
The Class of 2020 surveyed fellow graduates and learned that the most appreciated resource on campus was the Libraries. The Libraries have become a large part of their college memories, just like yours. Because of that, they want to give back to the Tomorrow Fund.
The Tomorrow Fund will help build collaborative spaces with a larger digital infrastructure. Building digital capacity will connect Longhorns with an unimaginable amount of research material.
Supporting the fund ensures library spaces reflect the needs of students, faculty, and researchers for generations to come.
Help the Class of 2020 and the next generation of Longhorns by making a gift of $20.20 or more.
Hitchcock Preservation Fund
The University of Texas would not be the top-tier academic institution that it is without an amazing library, and the library would not be amazing without our top-tier collections.
The Hitchcock Preservation Fund ensures that the Libraries are able to properly maintain and make available collections and research materials that our students and faculty rely on to make discoveries and advance research.
Help maintain our status as a top-tier library collection by pledging your support today!
Haricombe IDEA Fund
The Haricombe IDEA Fund centers around four core values: Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility.
To advance a culture of IDEA, UT Libraries commits to aligning library policy with these core values to build diversity in our workforce, information resources, services, spaces and programming that reflects the rich diversity of our user community and their needs.
Help advance Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility at The University of Texas by supporting the Haricombe IDEA Fund.
By donating to the Libraries Tomorrow Fund, you are joining the Libraries pledge to always meet the needs of our students by giving us the flexibility to address their constantly changing expectations as scholarship and technology evolve, while supporting the Class of 2020!
By donating to the Hitchcock Preservation Fund, you will ensure that generations to come will have access to the special collections we receive year after year, guaranteeing the quality of research and education that Longhorns expect.
By donating to the Haricombe IDEA Fund, you are helping build an environment of Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility for every student regardless of circumstance. The Libraries will be dedicating all gifts to the IDEA Fund towards projects that support IDEA initiatives.
