For more than 125 years, the University of Texas Libraries have committed to building one of the greatest library collections in the world. Maintaining more than 10 million volumes and providing access to the latest digital journals, databases and web resources, the Libraries collects and preserves the finest achievements of human knowledge in support of not only research and instruction needs, but also the exploration of ideas and intellectual innovation.

What We’re Fundraising For

Libraries’ Tomorrow Fund

For 125+ years, the Libraries have been the heart of the Forty Acres. They were your destination for all-nighters, your meeting ground for group study projects, your research guides, the place you wrote countless papers, and your nook where you took a breath between classes.

The Class of 2020 surveyed fellow graduates and learned that the most appreciated resource on campus was the Libraries. The Libraries have become a large part of their college memories, just like yours. Because of that, they want to give back to the Tomorrow Fund.

The Tomorrow Fund will help build collaborative spaces with a larger digital infrastructure. Building digital capacity will connect Longhorns with an unimaginable amount of research material.

Supporting the fund ensures library spaces reflect the needs of students, faculty, and researchers for generations to come.

Hitchcock Preservation Fund

The University of Texas would not be the top-tier academic institution that it is without an amazing library, and the library would not be amazing without our top-tier collections.
