Those memories have stuck with you because they were transformational. Whether your international experience was as a student at UT or as a Longhorn abroad, we know it was pivotal.

 

International experiences and cross-cultural skills give our students an advantage both professionally and personally. That is why the International Office creates opportunities for global learning on campus and beyond. We are the central home for study abroad, international student and scholar services, English as a Second Language services, and cross-disciplinary international projects at The University of Texas Austin.
 

By supporting the International Office during 40 Hours for the Forty Acres, you make international education possible, giving students the experience and skills to succeed as global leaders.

  • Make study abroad accessible to all students, especially those who would otherwise be unable to afford. Give them the chance to build tangible skills and gain experience necessary for a globally competitive workplace.
  • Draw the world’s most brilliant international students & scholars to UT Austin. Help them bring global perspectives into our classrooms and research labs greatly enhancing the quality of education we offer.
  • Offer superior language training and unique cultural experiences to help ESL students build their academic and professional proficiency
