The UT Women’s Club Volleyball team is a University of Texas at Austin RecSports affiliated volleyball club with the mission of winning national championships. We are a student-run organization that is committed to excellence by providing great competition to all other universities across the nation. Our goal is to enhance the college experience of each member through volleyball engagement. We hire coaches from around the Austin area who are dedicated to helping us achieve a continued high level of competition.
Our program is a great way for women on campus to continue their love for the fast-growing sport. We are comprised of two teams. Both teams practice twice a week and actively participate in various fundraising, volunteer, and social events. As an organization, we pride ourselves on our highly competitive nature. Teams will travel to different cities and states to compete against the best teams in the nation. Every year UTWVC teams are national title-contending teams. Our mission is to promote the development of the sport of volleyball, while providing a fun, competitive environment.
This past year, our Orange team won the NCVF Division 1 national championship against the A&M Aggies. This could not have been possible without our supporters. Last year, we raised $6,000 with the Forty for 40 Campaign and this year we are striving to match that amount that helped send us to the national championships. This year in April we are headed to DENVER, COLORADO to compete again. The hotels at nationals alone cost $7,000 for the whole club. The entry fee is another $2,000. We hope both teams can compete and bring home a national title in their respective divisions. We thank you SO much for your support and cannot wait to make you proud. Hook ‘em forever!
